Yep what a night for @thesooksofficial@solarcoasterband and @thecausewayband !!
@thecausewayband got their single launch party in the end with a fantastic line up of bands who complimented their sound nicely. While not all original members were able to attend it shows great commitment and hustle to keep the show going while also showcasing more talent. It was great to see Maddy perform and be in her element I love their single “Ok”, I’m keen to see where they go next. Also Laura and Maddy harmonise super freaking well, which is never easy in these venues/music genres/live so that to me was a huge stand out. Maddy mentioned after they did choir together for years so that makes a lot of sense 👏👏
Indie rock is a very hit and miss genre of music for me personally. I’m very bias towards classic rock.. I know I’m such a snob yuck haha. However, the three bands last night out did themselves in terms of entertainment and energy. The stand out last night truly was the drumming in each band. Especially the drummer in the @thesooksofficial absolutely phenomenal 👏
@solarcoasterband had great crowd engagement. I will never oppose a performer letting us the audience decide what cover they do next. What more could you ask for as an audience member! The lead singer was fantastic, their smiling was contagious for sure.
Go give give these bands some love and keep up to date with their next shows🕺
